Home of Hawks Volleyball
Formerly Covenant Christian Academy (CCA) or Covenant Volleyball, HVA offers a competitive fall semester volleyball program for homeschooled students around Huntsville, AL. Although we're no longer directly associated with CCA, we strive to maintain a similar Christian environment in all HVA activities. We are open to all bonafide homeschool students in the Huntsville area. Sorry, virtual students and other non-traditional students from public and private schools are not currently eligible.
We will typically run three teams each fall school volleyball season:
Middle School (6th-8th grade), High School JV and High School Varsity.

Our teams play in a few events versus regional homeschools and Christian schools, and compete in several events against public schools in Tennessee. All of our coaches have been in the program for years, and many also have several years of experience coaching club volleyball.

OVERALL PRACTICE CALENDAR:
For the MS team’s first week, they will practice Tues July 9 and Fri July 12th from 6:30-8:30 at United Volleyball Club. All other teams will have their first official practice on Monday July 15th. After that, the teams will settle into their typical practice schedules (see below). Varsity and JV high school teams will practice thru mid-October, but freshman and middle school teams will stop in late September. ALL players must have an updated physical BEFORE practices start.
TYPICAL PRACTICE SCHEDULES (subject to some minor changes):
* Varsity will practice every Mon, Tues & Thurs from 6:30-8:30 at United Volleyball Club.
* JV will practice every Mon & Thurs from 6:30-8:30 at United Volleyball Club.
* Freshman team will practice every Mon & Fri from 6-8pm at Faith Presbyterian.
* Middle School team will practice every Mon & Thurs from 6:30-8:30 at United Volleyball Club.
